Included are files on the Executive Departments of the United States Government (containing information on the Air Force, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Economic Cooperation Administration, the Mutual Security Agency, Radio Free Europe, the State Department, and the Voice of America); Societies and Associations (containing information on the American Legion, the Ford Foundation, the Red Cross, and the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia); and Geographical and Political Divisions (containing information on Germany, the Soviet Union, National Security Council Paper 10/5, and various individuals).

The National Student Association was founded in 1947 as a confederation of student governments across the nation, united for the purpose of improving education.
